Fedor Holz during a game
Fedor Holz is a poker player that some consider being one of the best in the whole world. He’s originally from Germany and is worth around thirty-two point five million dollars. He was born on the 25th of July in 1993 in Saarbrucken. Currently, he lives in Vienna, Austria, though his home has always been in Germany. Not a lot is known about his personal life, even though his winnings and success have earned him the curiosity of everyone, especially fans, who long to know more about him. At only twenty-five years old, Fedor has more success than many other poker players, which is part of why he’s caught so much interest.
To emphasize just how good of a player he is, back in 2014 and 2015, he was voted by Pocketfives.com as the best only MTT player.
Fedor and his Winning Streak
He won his first WSOP bracelet in July 2016, which must have felt like an amazing birthday present. It was in the 111,111-dollar High Roller For One Drop, in which he won almost five million dollars total. But his success continued after that. He was the runner-up in the Super High Roller Bowl for over three million dollars later in the year.
Fedor continued to win it big, including six million dollars in 2018 at the million-dollar No Limit Hold’em—the Big One for One Drop.
But for a man who earns high amounts of money, he began small. Originally, he earned just fifteen thousand euros in 2012, which was his first live earning. It was at the No-Limit Hold’em GPT II Deepstack Series Main Event. He played online as well, under the username CrownUpGuy. His first major online win was the World Championship of Online Poker for one point three million dollars. But he hasn’t always been successful, either. In 2015, Fedor finished in 25th place in the World Series of Poker Main Event. He earned two hundred and sixty-two thousand dollars.
Starting Small
But some of his best wins are from the 2016 and 2017 poker-playing seasons. In just this short time frame, Fedor won twenty-one million dollars, one of the best runs ever in poker history.
His most recent wins include getting second place just behind another poker player named Justin Bonomo in the 2018 WSOP one million Big One for One Drop. At that one, Fedor actually got over six million dollars as his prize.
In March of 2020, Fedor was actually listed as the number one German poker player in the all-time money list. With earnings in a total of over thirty-two thousand dollars throughout his entire career.
Because of how much money he’s earned and won, Fedor is rightly considered one of the best poker players of all time. He’s earned several World Series of Poker bracelets, including one in 2016 at almost five million dollars at the High Roller for One-drop Hold’em and his most recent one in 2020 for just over a million dollars at the twenty-five thousand Heads Up No-Limit Hold’em.
